We are a green Australian public company established to commercialise an exciting breakthrough in semiconductor technology.Evolved from more than 15 years research at Sydney’s Macquarie University, BluGlass has invented a novel process using Remote Plasma Chemical Vapour Deposition (RPCVD) to grow semiconductor materials such as gallium nitride (GaN), crucial to the production of high efficiency devices including next generation lighting technology Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) with significant low cost potential.
With the commissioning of our new state-of-the-art facilities, BluGlass seeks to demonstrate the commercial capability of the RPCVD technology to semi-conductor manufacturers with the aim of licensing its technology and process along with suppling RPCVD deposition equipment.
